My favorite Thai Dishes

My favorite Thai Dishes
Thai foods are wonderful diversity of ingredients. Basically, it has complexes with spiciness and unique flavor as well as aromas. So many Thai cuisines are prepared by adding Thai herbs which are good for our health benefits.
There is such a broad range of Thai dishes available every single corner in Thailand, in particular in Bangkok, the capital city of Thailand. In this reason, you don’t know exactly where to begin, what food you should eat in Thailand. So that, I have a short guide of my top 3 Thai dishes for you to enjoy it. To remind you that the main reason of Thai dishes is a balance of five flavors; spicy, salty, sweet, sour and bitter.
That is the point which makes Thai foods is well-known all around the world. I’m so proud of my country. I have to tell you that one thing you don’t miss to put in Thai dishes is fish sauce in much the same way as soy sauce in Chinese cooking. We normally eat Thai dishes with steamed rice, unlike in the north and the northeast of Thailand; they always eat with sticky rice.

Here are my favorite top 3 Thai foods;

Spicy Papaya Salad or Som Tam.
It’s one of the most famous ones. You can find it everywhere. Locals know it so well.  Do you know how to cook it? It is a spicy salad made from a mix of fresh vegetables including raw papaya, long bean, and tomato. It usually is served with sticky rice and grilled chicken. The only reason why I give a credit of this dish is healthy and good for our digestion. Don’t miss to tell a waiter that “Mai Phed”, not spicy, if you would like less chili pepper.
Green Curry with Chicken, Kang Keaw Wan Gai.

If you have heard, Thai people say “Gai. It means “Chicken.” In Thai style of cooking, chicken is the main meat. You can find it in every curry and soup.  Kang keaw Wan, mentioned above, means “Sweet Green Curry.” It is nicely sweet and less spicy and also its tastes very delightful with a proper blend of green curry chili paste, coconut milk which makes its mild, sweetness of sugar and saltiness of fish sauce. Definitely, it’s always served with steamed rice or spaghetti-like noodle or Kanom Jeen in Thai word. And here my last one:
Chicken in Coconut Milk, Tom Kha Gai.

It’s a kind of chicken soup. It deserves rank number 3 because of its unparalleled taste and popularity. Similar to Tom Yam Gai, both are prepared with many kinds of Thai herbs, but it’s special because of adding the coconut milk that makes this soup so unique. It is seasoned with chili, lime and fish sauce just like Tom Yam Gai. Thanks to coconut milk, both are milder and less spicy.
It’s just a short guide, but I hope that it’s useful more or less. You can also enjoy more kinds of Thai food. I promise to bring more detail of “how to cook Thai food.” For you guys!!!
