Treat your feeling blues with some green fruits:
The report shows that men who ate two kiwis a day for 6 weeks period time showed a significant improvement in anxiety and depression, more energy and vigor, according to the Journal of Nutritional Science.
In this study, first group was men who ate half a kiwi a day, and other men group who reported a positive outlook to start, displayed no benefit from the kiwis.
Anitra Carr, Ph.D, says that we have suspected primarily effect due to the vitamin C in this fruit. In general, vitamin C was the only active and high level nutrient that found and varied significantly between the low and high fruit groups.
As we can seen that vitamin C helps produces several enzymes in our body that produce metabolic energy in our body cells. It means that if we taking in more vitamin C, it could decrease feelings of fatigue and also increase physical and mental energy.
Recommend: If you’re feeling down from something, eating one kiwi in the morning and another in the evening.
