Healthy Breakfast Recipe: Nutty Cinnamon Quinoa with Blackberries
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup low-fat milk
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup rinsed quinoa to a boil
- 1/2 cup blackberries
- 1 tablespoon toasted walnuts
How-to make it:
- Mix 1/4 cup low-fat milk, 1/4 cup water, and 1/4 cup rinsed quinoa and then boil it.
- Then reduce heat; cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Let cool 5 minutes.
- Stir in 1/2 cup blackberries, 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon;
- Finally, top with 1 teaspoon agave nectar and 1 tablespoon toasted walnuts.
- Ready to serve
