Healthy Breakfast Recipe: Nutty Cinnamon Quinoa with Blackberries


Ingredients:


How-to make it:
  1. Mix 1/4 cup low-fat milk, 1/4 cup water, and 1/4 cup rinsed quinoa and then boil it.
  2. Then reduce heat; cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
  3. Let cool 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in 1/2 cup blackberries, 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon;
  5. Finally, top with 1 teaspoon agave nectar and 1 tablespoon toasted walnuts.
  6. Ready to serve


What are benefits:

Thanks to quinoa, which is rich in hunger-fighting protein. And also milk’s vitamin D help increase the  serotonin, which is a “happy hormone.” And the walnuts help deliver a good mood with omega-3s. It’s perfect!!!!
