Blueberries and broccoli prevent cancer?

Definitely, it is difficult to say that a specific healthy superfood increases or reduces the risk of developing cancer because our diets each day consist of many different kinds of food, chemicals and nutrients.

There is no evidence that eating a healthy balanced diet, such as mix fruits and veggies, daily can help you reduce the risk of developing some types of cancer.


Superfoods May Help

Superfoods like blueberries, beetroot and broccoli may reduce the risk of cancers. These superfoods are rich of nutrients and active chemicals, including vitamins A, C and E, flavonoids, beta-carotene as well as fibre.
Mix them together may give powerful effect against some dieseases rather than one in particular.  

Antioxidants Are Power weapon

Studies show that these superfoods such as blueberries and broccoli contain high levels of active antioxidants, which are chemical compounds that help reduce our cell damage caused by free radicals. In the clinical trial, antioxidants have been found to reduce the growth of cancer cells. On the other hand, in the lab conditional study, the effects of antioxidant are not necessarily the same as in the human body. In addition, the doses of antioxidants used in studies are often much higher than those found in these superfoods. Therefore, it’s so early to say that eating these superfoods can help you get away from cancer.

Healthy Diets Can Reduce Cancer
It’s hard to say that eating a healthy diet plus regular training will not help you maintain your healthy weight. There are many researches support eating healthy balanced diet can reduce your risk of getting some developing types of cancer.
